The IRS DEADline

Asshattery, IRS, Taxes
10:09 PM I’m sure many of you may have heard about the low-life loser-face who decided it would be a good idea to fly his plane into the Austin, TX IRS building today. It’s such a shame to see people with problems blame everyone for the problems they created. As so aptly put by Carl Anheuser in 2012 :: “What… life isn’t FAIR?”
Exactly. Life isn’t fair. And taxes may not be either, but it’s the price we all pay to live in a free country where we have laws that protect us (well, most of us), a government that, IMHO, is far better off than others in the world, and endless opportunities for education and success. Taxes come due. You pay them and MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE.
Reports are saying the asshat who chose to fly his plane into the building owed over $120,000 in taxes. I don’t even know how you begin to owe the IRS that much money as a single person. How much do you think he could have fetched for that plane he was flying? I don’t know how much single engine planes go for these days, but I’m pretty damn sure it would have covered a good chunk, if not all, of the money he owed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and families of those who work in that building. And, I’m sorry, but I’m hoping the man responsible for this senseless act is in a place he hates very, very much. Like a freezing cold tundra with no jacket, no shoes, with vagina mountains, period-blood rivers, and tuna-flavored drinking water. Now that’s my idea of hell.
